Join us for a workshop at the Cracker Factory with Laura Rowley of Illuminated Press. Learn how to bind an Ethiopian Book! In this workshop, you will make this beautiful and historic book structure with wooden covers and 120 inside pages for drawing or journaling. Learn the basics of Ethiopian bookbinding and leave with your creation! This style is awesome not only because it was one of the first book structures in history, but also because it can lay flat on a table for all of your doodling desires. All abilities are welcome. The workshop will go on from 1pm to 6pm on Sunday June 10th! Please inquire for any further questions. Advance ticket sales required - $75 per person, $60 per student/senior.
