3Stories is pleased to announce the next installment of the 4 for 40 series of evenings pairing music and dinner at the Cracker Factory. Amy Lavere and Will Sexton and Chef... will be the culinary and musical artists on Wednesday, September 5th from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. Brooklyn Brewery will be the official sponsor of this event with a choice of a beer pairing.  Doors open at 5:30. The evening will combine the finest that the Finger Lakes has to offer with music presented in an intimate setting with a casual meal of four courses. The bar will be open for beverage purchase featuring craft beers, local Finger Lakes wines, cocktails and non-alcoholic beverages. Reservations are $40 per guest, advance ticket sales required.

4 for 40 features two sets of music and a light dinner featuring appetizer, salad, entree, and dessert courses. Following the opening set of music, the artists will join the guests for dinner, and conclude with a second set of music with dessert.

We are excited to welcome back Amy Lavere and Will Sexton from Memphis, Tennessee.  A burgeoning star, Amy LaVere is becoming renowned worldwide for her songwriting, bass playing, and vocals. She sings with a sweet, haunting voice that can turn on a dime from innocent to lusty (“Norah Jones with an added Cyndi Lauper element” — Mojo Magazine; “Spookiness suits her” — New York Times). Whether playing as a duo with her husband Will Sexton or with retro-country sensation Motel Mirrors, she’s an inventive, thoughtful singer-songwriter who has crowds throughout the US and Europe smitten.  Will is a respected artist, songwriter and producer with a list of acclaimed solo albums to his name. Keeping his old ties deep in the heart of Texas, Will now calls Memphis home with his wife, singer-songwriter Amy LaVere. Will and Amy have been touring and playing together for a couple of years and have a full schedule playing in the U.S. and Europe in the coming months. Their new CD, Hallelujah, I’m A Dreamer is spare and tight, showcasing Will and Amy’s fine playing styles and beautiful harmonies.

3Stories is an incorporated 501(c)3 non-profit housed within the Cracker Factory that manages cultural events of all kinds. The Cracker Factory is a restored factory space on Geneva’s north side that hosts an event space, which is available for events including receptions, performances, and more.
